Event Questions
The CenterPoint Energy Red River Balloon Rally is Friday, July 12 and Saturday, July 13, and the Louisiana State Ballooning Championship competition is Saturday, July 13 and Sunday, July 14.
We do not allow for people to bring in outside food or drinks to the festival site.
§ You may bring in blankets or chairs to the site, but we have a list of items that we do not allow at the festival.

(All items will be searched upon entry for all attendees.)
- No Bags Larger Than 8” X 10”. (See gate supervisor for special requests such as diaper bags and medications in coolers.)
- No Smoking of Any Kind including Vaping (Propane in Use)
- No Weapons
- No Firearms
- No Outside Water, Food or Beverages
- No Coolers
- No Pets (Service Animals Approved)
- No Grills or Open Flames
- No Fireworks
- No Video Taping Equipment
- No Glass
- No Tents of Any Kind
- No Drones
- No Unmanned Aerial Vehicles
The gates open at 5:00 PM.
The event will end at 10:00 PM.
Absolutely no pets are allowed. You can bring a REGISTERED service animal, but please keep in mind this is a very loud festival. There is live entertainment. Hot air balloon burners also emit a very high frequency noise that irritates animals. We do not have an area for animals to relieve themselves, nor do we have pet watering stations. You must clean up after your registered service animal.

We will not issue any refunds in the event that the event is canceled.

Activities/Entertainment
The tether rides cost $25 each, cash only. The balloon tether will go up weather permitting.
*Tether balloon rides are not ADA accessible
Not on the site itself, but if you would like to schedule a flight in a hot air balloon you may call American Escapes Aerosports at 318-458-9467 for balloon ride information.
- We have a AEP SWEPCO Family Fun Zone with lots of great activities for children!
- There will be a photo booth for families too!
Yes, the gate will have an ATM nearby and we will also have 3 ATM’s inside of the festival as well.
Some of the food booths do take credit cards, but we will have ATM’s on site in case some of them do not.
On Friday, the first band will play from 6:00pm-7:00pm. The second band will play from 7:15pm-8:30pm.
On Saturday, the first band will play from 6:00pm-7:00pm. The second band will play from 7:15pm-8:30pm.

- Parking is FREE this year! Be sure to give the parking lot sponsor- A Brighter Smile, a thank-you when you go!
The site begins to get busy around 6:30 PM. We recommend that you try and arrive between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
Tickets
- Tickets can be purchased online (with an additional $1.45 per ticket fee)
